Mineral Specimens

Mineral specimens can make a lovely display in a room or a space. Many collectors put carefully labeled stones in structured displays in cases or on shelves. Others may put a beautiful cluster in the middle of the living room coffee table. In addition to their beauty, the healing energy of these crystals may enhance the positive energy in your environment or cleanse an area of negativity. Some minerals provide protection from electromagnetic forces (computers, cell phones, power lines, etc.)

Ki Stones was created in 1996 with a few crystal clusters and 20 kinds of tumbled stones. It has grown exponentially since then.   What is on this website is a small percentage of our total stock which includes minerals from every continent except Antarctica. If you don’t see something you’re looking for, let us know and we’ll see if we have it in stock.

Minerals, rocks, and stones are all the same thing and they grow everywhere in the world. We were very surprised to be looking at a display case in the Cairo Museum of “Stones of Egypt” and discovering that everything in that case is also found in the U. S. Some stones grow in only one location in the world, but many are found in many places. We value having a good assortment, but we are also “picky.” We hand select all our specimens to ensure they have the quality and the energy that we want to offer. We would never send out a mineral we would not be comfortable having as our own. We thoroughly enjoy that we get to live with them until they go to new homes. Many people have suggested that the joy and love we have for the stones is reflected in the beauty and increased energy of these materials.

We belong to mineral clubs where we have learned a great deal from the geology folks about the scientific sides of stones and how they develop. Each mineral has a unique chemical makeup and a predictable, consistent structure and method of formation. Despite this, it was the unique vibrational pattern, their energy, that drew us to stones and minerals originally. They are beautiful in their many colors and forms, but they can also be helpful. While we have learned from those on the scientific side, many of them have come to accept that there really is something about minerals beyond their chemical makeup.
